We had a nice turnout for a threatening day, and all but one entry finished before it started to rain. The vegetation on the map has changed a good bit since it was last field checked, which made for some difficulties, particularly for the Intermediate course, which quite a few “Did Not Finish” (DNF), and the times were longer than on the Advanced course.
But, everyone seemed to have had fun, and there was a lot of post-race discussion of the route choices, particularly about going around or through some of the green areas.
Thanks of course to Eric, who created and set the courses, and picked everything up afterwards in the rain. And thanks to all who ventured out and made it a worthwhile event.
