Every year Orienteering USA ranks orienteers by points amassed at National Meets throughout the year and this year several EMPO members are featured among the top North Americans:
F21+: Sydney Fisher – 5th
M Red: Kevin Fisher – 2nd
M55+: Laszlo Kolyvek – 2nd; David Smith – 22nd
F70+: Janet Findlay – 1st; Candice Raines – 10th; Sue Hawkes-Teeter – 12th
M70+: David Hunter – 7th; Thayer Raines – 20th
M75+: Phil Hawkes-Teeter – 19th
Members Grant Staats and Marty Hawkes-Teeter attended several National Meets but not enough to score ranking points.
