Empire Orienteering Club (EMPO) is non-profit organization, sponsoring orienteering events, providing instruction in the sport of orienteering and producing detailed orienteering maps of public parks and private venues in the Capital District of New York State.

Donate
EMPO is a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) organization. Donations qualify as charitable contributions. Donations over $250 will be acknowledged in writing by the EMPO treasurer, in accordance with tax law. For more information about donations please contact us.

Orienteering
USA
Orienteering USA is orienteering’s national governing body. Members receive monthly email updates, discounts at national meets, eligibility for US Championship events, voting rights, and membership in the International Orienteering Federation. The body provides low cost group insurance rates that cover our local meets along with park land use permits. For more information, see the Orienteering USA web page at http://orienteeringusa.org.
